General Guidelines
To raise pH by 1.0 unit: 50 lbs lime per 1000 sq ft for sandy soil, 100 lbs for loam, 150 lbs for clay.
To lower pH by 1.0 unit: 10 lbs sulfur per 1000 sq ft for sandy soil, 20 lbs for loam, 30 lbs for clay.
