Boost Horsepower Formula
Boosted HP = Current HP × (1 + (Boost Pressure / 14.7) × Efficiency)
To calculate boosted horsepower, multiply the current horsepower by (1 plus (boost pressure divided by atmospheric pressure) multiplied by the efficiency factor). For example: 200 HP with 10 psi boost at 80% efficiency = 200 × (1 + (10 / 14.7) × 0.8) = 280 HP.
