Resistor Color Code Calculator
Calculate resistor values using color bands. Easily determine resistance, tolerance, and temperature coefficient for 4-band, 5-band, and 6-band resistors.
Step 1: Band Configuration
Understanding Resistor Bands
Resistor color codes indicate resistance values, tolerance, and temperature coefficients. The number of bands determines the precision of the resistance value.
Step 2: Calculation Options
About Resistor Values
Resistor values follow EIA standard series (E6, E12, E24, etc.). The color code system allows quick identification of resistance values without measurement tools.

Resistor Color Code Formula
Resistance = (Digit1 Digit2 Digit3) × Multiplier
The resistance value is calculated by combining the first digits and multiplying by the multiplier value from the third band. Tolerance and temperature coefficient bands provide additional specifications.
