BMI = Weight (kg) / Height (m)²
Where:
• Weight = Your body weight in kilograms
• Height = Your height in meters (cm ÷ 100)
• BMI Categories: Underweight (<18.5), Normal (18.5-24.9), Overweight (25-29.9), Obese (30+)
Conversions:
• kg to lbs: Multiply by 2.20462
• lbs to kg: Multiply by 0.453592
• Stone to kg: Multiply by 6.35029

Height: 1.70 meters
Minimum healthy BMI: 18.5
Maximum healthy BMI: 24.9
Calculation:
Minimum weight = 18.5 × (1.70)² = 18.5 × 2.89 = 53.5 kg
Maximum weight = 24.9 × (1.70)² = 24.9 × 2.89 = 71.9 kg
Healthy range: 53.5 – 71.9 kg
= 118 – 158 lbs
= 8.4 – 11.3 stone
