How needs are calculated
Weekly care hours = (age factor + mobility + cognitive + chronic + ADL assistance) × living multiplier
Age factor: 0.2 hrs per year above 65. Mobility adds 0–40 hrs, cognitive 0–30, chronic 0–10, daily living 0–35. Living situation multiplier: alone 1.2, family 1.0, assisted 0.9, nursing 0.8 (shared care). Hourly rate then applied.
