Creatinine Clearance Calculator
Calculate creatinine clearance and estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) to assess kidney function. Based on serum creatinine, age, weight, and gender using the Cockcroft-Gault formula.
Step 1: Patient Information
About Creatinine Clearance
Creatinine clearance estimates the glomerular filtration rate (GFR), which measures how well your kidneys are filtering waste from your blood. Normal values range from 90-120 mL/min.
Step 2: Laboratory Values
Important Note
This calculator provides an estimate of kidney function. Always consult with a healthcare professional for proper diagnosis and treatment. Results are based on the Cockcroft-Gault formula.

Calculation Formula & Details
Cockcroft-Gault Formula
For males: CrCl = [(140 – age) × weight] / (72 × serum creatinine)
For females: CrCl = [(140 – age) × weight] / (72 × serum creatinine) × 0.85
BSA-adjusted CrCl = CrCl × (1.73 / BSA)
BSA is calculated using the Du Bois formula: BSA = 0.007184 × height0.725 × weight0.425
