Battery Life Calculator
Calculate how long your device’s battery will last based on capacity, power consumption, and usage patterns. Compare different batteries and optimize your device’s power efficiency.
Step 1: Battery Details
Understanding Battery Capacity
Battery capacity measured in mAh (milliampere-hours) or Wh (watt-hours) indicates how much energy a battery can store. Higher capacity means longer runtime but may increase size and weight.
Step 2: Usage Details
About Power Consumption
Power consumption measures how much energy your device uses per hour. Lower consumption means longer battery life. Different activities (gaming, video streaming, browsing) consume power at different rates.

Battery Life Breakdown
Battery Life Calculation Formula
Battery Life (hours) = Battery Capacity (Wh) ÷ Power Consumption (W)
Battery life is calculated by dividing the battery’s total energy capacity (in watt-hours) by the device’s power consumption (in watts). This gives the estimated runtime in hours. For mAh batteries: Wh = (mAh × V) ÷ 1000.
