Framing Calculation Formula
Studs = (Wall Length × 12) / Stud Spacing + 1
Stud count is calculated by converting wall length to inches, dividing by stud spacing, and adding one for the end stud. Plates are calculated as wall length × 3 (top plates × 2 + bottom plate × 1).
