Screed Calculator
Calculate floor screed material requirements and costs. Estimate screed volume, bags needed, and total cost based on area, thickness, and mix type.
Step 1: Area & Thickness
Screed Thickness Guidelines
Standard screed thickness is 50-75mm for traditional sand/cement mixes. Flowing screeds can be applied thinner (35-40mm). Always follow manufacturer specifications for your specific screed type.
Step 2: Material & Cost
Screed Types Explained
Traditional: Sand/cement mix, most common. Flowing: Self-leveling, faster installation. Fast-Drying: Reduced curing time. Insulation: Added thermal properties.

Screed Calculation Formula
Volume = Area × (Thickness / 1000)
For metric: Volume (m³) = Area (m²) × Thickness (mm) / 1000. Bags Required = Area ÷ (Bag Coverage × 50 ÷ Thickness). Total Cost = Bags Required × Price per Bag.
